Some people have to be more careful in public, after all we’re in a pandemic. It’s truly one of my pet peeves, from people not wearing masks, to not social distancing. It mentally and physically pains me. As the virus gets worse, more people get infected, new strains come out, hospitals crawl slowly toward capacity, and yet some people don't listen.

Firstly are parties, for example, internet influencer Bryce Hall held a party back in August of 2020. 75 people went to the party, and it escalated so far that the LAPD (Los Angeles Police Department) had to break in and stop it at 4 AM. This resulted in the governor also having to shut off utilities such as power and water in his house. This is truly disappointing, as we’re in a world crisis, some people seem don’t to notice that they have to be careful. This is also supporting this behavior as he has about 18 million followers, most of them are probably young too. This influences bad behavior. He ended up facing criminal charges, getting fined up to $2,000 for breaking health guidelines. 

Secondly is not wearing masks and social distancing. Masks are so very important. They help keep you safe, as well as help keep other people safe. It prevents them from getting sick, and you truly need masks.You could be asymptomatic; the mask prevents most of your coughs germs from going out and infecting people. Social distancing is just as important, people can spread COVID-19 48 hours before they have symptoms.  

An example of not following social distancing and wearing masks is the Trump Florida rally. Crowds of MAGA people gathered, most not wearing masks and social distancing. This caused many people to get the virus, hundreds, thousands. Be aware that this is a deadly virus. This could potentially make you die. The crazy thing is that about 2,000 people die every single day in America only. 

I feel that we should donate to the hospitals. They need medical items necessary to help cure people suffering from COVID-19. As they reach capacity, it's harder to keep on buying items. We can help them by donating money to get those supplies.
